Nurse Injector
Meet Shayna! Moxies nurse injector. Shayna has been a nurse for over ten years. She has worked in several different capacities beginning her career with Intermountain Healthcare. She made her way back to her roots here in Blackfoot where she specialized in pain management for over seven years and obtained her Masters in Nursing management and leadership. She currently spends her time between Moxie and working as a nurse case manager. Shayna is a Family Nurse Practitioner student at Gonzaga. She obtained her neurotoxin and dermal filler training from The Plastics Clinic and has taken additional one on one training in order to provide the best results. She firmly believes in enhancing your natural beauty and is here to help you feel confident. This is her dream to help others and she is so excited to provide services in the area and work with amazing providers. She has two adorable kiddos that are her world. You’ll find her on some sort of adventure in her free time.
Meet Ashley, our Master Esthetician here at Moxie and your new Esti-Bestie! Ashley was born and raised in Blackfoot. She completed her Esthetics program at Nathan Layne Institute of Cosmetology at the top of her class.
Before Esthetics Ashley is known as your brow girl! Her former PMU “Bladed Beauté” business she started in 2016 is what made her truly love everything about making people happy and skincare. Ashley is dedicated and committed to enhancing your natural beauty and will specialize in promoting healthy, radiant skin. With a passion for skincare and a focus on personalized treatments she will aim to create a relaxing and rejuvenating experience tailored to your unique needs. She’s here to guide you on your journey to glowing, confident skin.
When Ashley isn’t in the office making her clients happy and relaxed, she spends her days with her husband and 3 children making memories. Ashley is a DIYer who loves to sew, loves skiing, and playing volleyball!
Fun facts about Ashley: She was adopted along with 11 other siblings. Life’s a party!
Co-Owner of Moxie Med Spa
Meet Cody Jones OD, your friendly neighborhood eye doctor and owner of Bluebird Vision + Wellness. In addition to his optometry practice, Cody is also a co-owner of Moxie Med Spa. As the Director of Ocular and Dry Eye Services at the spa, he brings his expertise in eye health to complement the array of services offered.
Cody was born and raised in Blackfoot. After graduating from Snake River High School, he pursued his dreams and passion for eye care, taking the journey that led him to become a graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2006. After graduating, he proudly served as an officer and doctor in the US Navy at the Naval Medical Center San Diego until 2009, where he gained valuable experience. With a desire to come home and give back to his community, he returned to Blackfoot to establish his practice.
Besides his work in eye care and Wellness, Cody is an active contributor to the field of optometry in Idaho. He has served for nearly 8 years on the Idaho Optometric Physicians board and currently holds the position of president.
Outside of his professional commitments, Cody values spending quality time with his wife, Natalie and their eight children. Recently, he became a proud grandpa to a lovely granddaughter. When he’s not in the office, you might find him skiing, hunting, or eating ice cream.
Medical Director, Co-Owner, and a Family Nurse Practitioner
Max Barney is Moxies medical director, co-owner, and a family nurse practitioner. Max has called Blackfoot home for over 20 years. In addition to working in emergency department and ICU settings, Max has worked as a family nurse practitioner for nearly a decade. He Co-Owns Peak Family Medicine and enjoys his family practice there. When Max isn’t working you can find him spending time with his family, skiing, coaching high school soccer or in outdoors. Max and his wife Alysa have 6 children and 3 dogs. Max’s favorite meal would be steak with steamed veggies and a Dr Pepper.
